Dr. Mohamed Reda Labcir (1966–2026) was an Algerian academic based in the United Kingdom, specializing in management sciences and health information systems.

Born in Algiers and a graduate of the National Polytechnic School in 1992, he continued his studies at the London School of Economics and Imperial College London, where he earned his PhD in 2004.

He served as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Hertfordshire, contributing to research on governance and information systems.

Highly active within the Algerian community in the UK, he headed the Algerian electoral office in London from 1999 to 2014.

He passed away in March 2026, remembered as a respected scholar and a dedicated community figure.
