Since GuppY version 5.02.06, cookies GuppYPref, GuppYConnect, GuppYCrypt, GuppYUser are encrypted for content security, with the possibility to change the encryption key for the site editor.

By browsing the site, it is brought to the user's attention that third-party "cookies" files may be recorded. This concerns more particularly Facebook, Google, Yahoo.

In addition, the site integrates social network buttons, allowing the user to share his activity on the site. "Cookies" files from these social networks are consequently likely to be stored on the user's computer when he uses these features.
